Fixed Stars – The astrological meanings of all the most important stars in our night’s sky.

In this huge article, I will run through all the fixed stars that I personally look at on a regular basis and what their meanings are when they are linked up to the planets and angles in our natal astrological charts. The stars above us are much maligned and often overlooked, but they should not be as they offer subtlety, extra meanings and colour to any astrological reading. By looking and taking note of them, they can provide the answers to questions where none may be available through looking just at the planets on the Astrological wheel.

The stars do move very slowly, about 1 degree every 70 years, so you should be able to work out where the stars were when you were born. The degrees I have included are correct for the year 2014. I have listed the stars in zodiac degree order from the ones at the start in the sign of Aries through to the last sign Pisces. I hope you will find this a hugely helpful resource to aid you in your own astrological work. By the way, when it comes to how close the connections have to be in order for them to be effective, I use a very close orb of influence of 1 degree either side of the star.

Australia – The great burn up continues

Watching the awful pictures of the past couple of months out in Australia and the record temperatures being recorded there, it set my mind wondering what is causing the extremes that the Aussie nation is experiencing, especially in Astrological terms. Now we all know about climate change, and that will not be helping things. In the UK where I live there seems to be non stop rain and the river levels are creeping higher and higher. In Australia, the smoke from bush fires are blanking out the sky in Sydney and the city is on constant alert.

Will Boris hasten the break up of the United Kingdom?

Back om the 27th April 2016 I went on record to write this...

“The really powerful aspect starting to form though on the UK chart is transiting Pluto on the way to opposing the UK Moon. The Moon rules the top of the chart, the public face of the UK and this shows a complete transformation in the face of the nation that the world sees. There is definite change coming in the next year or two, and the ramifications of an exit vote for Europe could lead to the entire break up of the United Kingdom. Yes, we are talking a vital decision that could have ramifications of mammoth proportions.

You see, Scotland is very Euro friendly whereas the English seem to be very eurosceptic. There was a vote a couple of years ago where Scotland decided not to break away from the UK, but the question of Scottish independence is still a live one at Holyrood, where the Scottish parliament sits. Pluto opposing the Moon shows a potential change in the population of the UK or even a break up and transformation (Pluto) of the nation and its peoples (Moon). The stakes for the 23rd June vote could not be any higher.”

Now in the light of the election just two days ago, those words are becoming more and more prophetic every minute. The winner of the election, one I also called before it took place was Boris Johnson, and if you start to put his natal horoscope against those of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, the SNP leader and first minister of her nation, and the chart of Northern Ireland, things start to get even clearer about the effect he will have on this union of nations that I live in.
