Saturn inconjunct Uranus - Keeping the status quo in the face of opposition

Stop

This aspect is applying between now and 16th November when it is exact, but stays in orb until the end of November.

This inconjunct aspect is now in formation, as the planet of stability and order (Saturn) faces off against the planet of instability and progress (Uranus). Now, there is always a battle of wills when these two planets aspect each other. Normally tradition dictates that the outer planet of the two holds sway and this is normally Uranus, as it is impossible to hold back change and innovation. However, Saturn is moving direct right now and Uranus is retrograde, so the advantage does in my view go with the old order, the established way of doing things and those who hold the rule of law. Saturn has momentum and Uranus does not.

Once Uranus starts to move direct again, this force for new ideas and ways of doing things will have it's way, but it isn't right now. Those anti-establishment forces because of the retrograde motion will rebel, revolt and make a real issue of the lack of progression, and this could turn nasty. Expect a furious backlash from those who lose under this influence, or can't do what they want to do because they are being prevented or blocked. On a global note, I always look out for earthquakes as this one closes in, as it is a shearing type of aspect posing the immovable object against the irresistible force.

Venus in Libra trine Jupiter in Gemini - Spread the love around

hearts

This aspect is now active until around 10th November.

In the middle of all the stressful eclipse aspects coming up, Mercury retrograde which can cause disruption and Venus' recent connection with the Uranus Pluto square which would have stirred up problems in relationships, now Venus in it's home sign starts to connect in a lovely trine to Jupiter.

This is lazy, easy going, flirtatious and fun; just about what we need right now, especially for those of you in the US who have endured Super Storm Sandy and the barrage of TV ads, phone calls and emails all in the aid of your Presidential Election. This is the ultimate de-stress aspect and a chance to have fun with and be generous to the one you love or to find a new friend to hook up with. Go out, meet people, socialize and enjoy, for more stress lies in wait for us all as November progresses.

Syria - Autumn eclipses signal time for Assad to leave.

Assad

One has got to say that President Assad of Syria is nothing if not a clever operator. The fact that he is still holding onto power despite a year and a half of violence which turned into full blown civil war in Syria shows he has been able to keep the core of his support on his side. No less than 7 planets in mutable signs, all except Mars, Venus and Neptune make him able to twist and turn his position to his advantage. Now however, the heavens are turning against him. David Cameron, the UK Prime Minister on tour in the Middle East signalled today that he would agree to the safe passage of Assad out of Syria, if it meant an end to the bloodshed there. It just so happens that the next two new and full Moons are eclipses, and they will hit vital areas of Assad’s own chart and the Assad family regime one, so that request for Assad to go may well be heeded.

Mercury trine Uranus - Sharp insight and ideas but watch out for technical hitches

lightening

Tonight and into tomorrow morning Mercury makes a fire trine to Uranus so we have a really receptive link and connection between the planets ruling the mind and the higher mind - Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. Keep track of your thought and your insights now as your brain is likely to be razor sharp and full of ideas and solutions to problems. Now is a time when you can think laterally and inventively however your attention span is likely to be short now, so don't be surprised if you get bored easily.
