Robin Williams – A maverick actor and performer haunted by his past.

RobinWilliams

It’s so sad when I have to write about the passing of a famous person and this morning I woke to hear the shock news that Robin Williams, actor, comedian and all around nice guy of stand-up and screen had taken his own life. He was 63 years of age. He had entertained and delighted up with all manner of films, TV shows and his comedic brilliance, from “Mork and Mindy” to the wonderfully improvised “Good Morning Vietnam”. He starred in “Dead Poet’s Society”, the “Fisher King”, showed his more manic side in “Mrs Doubtfire” and he excelled in more restrained roles too including his Oscar winning performance in “Good Will Hunting”.

Full Moon in Aquarius on 10th Aug 2014 – Time to go fishing…

dolphins

We have another Full Moon just around the corner and this one lands in the sign of Aquarius on 10th August. Aquarius is a sign of community, of social issues and of kindness to fellow human beings. It doesn’t matter to an Aquarian if you are white, black, mixed race, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Chinese, American or even from outer Mongolia. To the Aquarian eye, we are all part of one great collective of life on earth, and so the onus on this full Moon lies with the idea of social issues, of groups and companies, of how we deal with our friends and what we expect from our hopes and ambitions.

sittingonamissile

Hi everyone. Today, the 1st August is the day of my solar return, my actual birthday is tomorrow and the skies above us show today is a day of contrasts and calmer waters to swim in. The main connection and action today as this ceasefire kicks in and talks begin is at 16 degrees of Cancer where Venus is moving, 16 degrees of Scorpio with Saturn and 16 degrees of Aries where we find Uranus.

Libya - tearing itself apart through fractional fighting.

Libya1x

While the eyes of the world have been on flight MH17, Ukraine, Israel and the Gaza strip, in Northern Africa, civil war threatens to tear the country of Libya formally ruled by Colonel Qaddafi to pieces. The situation is so dangerous that the British foreign office have told all Britons to leave the North African nation and the Americans recently pulled their people out too.
