Hearty congratulations I think are in order to Ukrainian born actress Mila and to her fiancé Ashton Kutcher as well, who announced late yesterday that they are going to become parents. This is an exciting time for both of them as they recently announced their engagement and now a baby is on the way.

Astrology of the Solar Eclipse of April 2014 – Letting off steam and releasing the pressure.

solar eclipse 2

This is the second in a series of two articles looking at the eclipses occurring in the Spring of 2014 concentrating on the Solar Eclipse occurring on the 29th April that occurs in the sign of Taurus. A Solar Eclipse sees the light of the Sun covered either partly or sometimes totally by the Moon as it moves in front of it. This was seen as a bad omen for the future and it is true that unfortunate events can be traced back to position of the planets at the time of an eclipse. Eclipses do set the scene for the future as they bring new cycles of energy into motion. Where the eclipses hit on the Astrology chart  life themes are activated, new energy floods in through one eclipse and old energy seeps away with the other. As I have mentioned many times before, it is a constant long running cycle, just like the tides of the seas and the seasons through the year. These eclipses though sometimes difficult to deal with allow us to update ourselves and to move on.

Unaspected Planets – How do they affect you through your astrological chart?

odd one out

I was recently having an interesting debate on my Facebook page about unaspected planets as a couple of days ago Mars now travelling retrograde in Libra was separated from all the other planets in the heavens. Unaspected planets, and by unaspected I mean ones not making a major aspect to any other major body (Conj, Sext, Sqr, Tri or Opp) tend to take a special place in an astrology chart and in my view their influence normally increases in relation to everything else on the chart. This prompted me to write a post on this fascinating subject.

Venus conjunct Sualocin - Artistically blessed and naughtily flirtatious

dolphin1

This connection kicks in tomorrow (23rd March) lasts for approximately 48 hours. It occurs at 17:35 degrees Aquarius.

Venus is now moving in to connect with a wonderful star with a naughty and fun reputation. Sualocin is the main star in the constellation of the dolphin, Delphinus. This star very closely reflects the nature of a dolphin, being fun, curious, clever and intelligent, quite independent and it also confers talent or mastery over an area of life. This is a star of confidence and skill.

Venus is the planet of money and possessions, design and beauty, love and attraction and with these two hooking up then you can imagine the possibilities. This could be a time when you can cleverly adjust your finances, it could be an opportunity to be artistic and creative and to make the most of the skills that you possess. This is a great opportunity as well to spend time on or near water as any maritime activity should be enjoyed. Finally of course, it could be a moment when you can use your charm and wit to snare the object of your desires.

There is a feeling of being able to be a bit naughty about Venus conjunct to Sualocin, it's a time to flirt, to be playful in love and with love and sex, to laugh, to tempt, to tease and to suggest. Love should be an enjoyable experience and not one that you should get too serious about, so I suggest you lighten the mood and take pleasure in spending some quality time with the one you adore ;)
