Astrology of the Day – Moon in Capricorn - Wednesday 25th October 2017

The Moon is in the conservative sign of Capricorn for the whole of today and our motivations and needs for the middle of the week settle on how structure our lives, how we go about our tasks and apportion what we need to do. There is little time for sentimentality or for weakness, we must buckle down and just get on with the job.

For the first half of the day we may show some ambition and a need to widen our appeal to others who either we have to cooperate with or who we need to influence, however there is a chance that anyone who does not play by the same rules and methods that we are using may incur our displeasure. The Moon makes an irritable square to Mars, and while this will make us productive, it will also put us on edge too.

Mercury spends the day on the stars Acrux and Alphecca and the way we think will also be linked to more practical and ethical motivations too, however with these stars there is invariably a cost to pay and any decisions that we make may have to involve a sacrifice as well as the benefits that we gain out of them. Venus is moving in the stars of the Crow, and in regard to love, relationships and the way we value things, we can be clever and astute in being able to get exactly what we want, however try to desist from taking things one step too far into dishonesty and going behind people's backs. Much better to take the slower and more visible high road than to try and cut corners by taking the lower one.
