Things are starting to turn rather ugly on the Korean peninsular, as North Korea which has been increasing it’s rhetoric and preparedness for some type of conflict in issuing threats to the United States today declared itself in a state of war with it’s South Korean neighbour. Technically these two nations have been in a state of war since 1950 after the Korean war was never officially ended by a treaty, but the North seems to have felt threatened by US/South Korean military operations recently and has reignited the fuse between them, firstly by cutting all communications ties with the South, and now this statement of intent.

Mars Conjunct Alpheratz - Taking a chance
This aspect is in orb now and operational for the next 3 days until 1st April.
Mars in now in range in the the star Alpheratz in the constellation of Andromeda, the Princess. This star used to be part of the constellation of Pegasus and it still retains the same kind of attributes that we find in the stars of that constellation, namely freedom and movement and the sheer thrill of flying along at great speed, this is a star of action!!
Mars getting here brings a very brave reckless influence of a star that knows no fear, and so the possibility of doing something very dangerous or foolhardy in increased immensely. This combination is likely to instill a love of risk taking, taking on challenges and taking your life into your hands for the sheer buzz of the experience. In my estimation, this combination when it happens is like the Evel Knievel of the solar system.
Just on cue in North Korea, Kim Jon Un has decided in a crazy move to put his troops and forces on the highest alert in preparedness to fire rockets at the United States!! Is he totally mad, or is it this conjunction and influence that is giving the young North Korean leader the impetus to take a huge, huge risk?

A judges in Italy today announced that Amanda Knox, or “Foxy Knoxy” as the press dubbed her along with her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito must stand trial again for the 2007 murder of British student Meredith Kercher in Perugia. The last case centred around DNA evidence on a knife which the defence proved at the time was flawed, allowing Knox and Sollecito to be found not guilty. The debate over the case has rumbled on and now the Italian authorities after reviewing the evidence once again has ordered this retrial.

Interesting protest in Paris today as thousand of protesters took to the street to voice their opposition to new Gay rights laws allowing same sex marriage and adoption to happen. Thousands of people took to the streets near to the Arc de Triomphe to try to persuade lawmakers to change their minds. The protests did get out of hand and the police had to intervene with tear gas to prevent violence breaking out.
