Luka Magnotta has one of those horoscopes that could go one of two ways, good or bad. It still baffles me why some people can use the energy and planetary combinations in a positive manner, yet some use the energy for evil deeds. Magnotta, for those of you yet unaware of the story, is a porn star actor (both gay and straight) who has a nasty violent streak within him. It is known that he posted videos on the internet of extreme cruelty to animals including pet cats, and it seems that this obsession for violence got worse. In the past 2 weeks, a 32 year old Chinese student Lin Jun studying at a Montreal University went missing. A few days later a video was posted on the net showing the apparent murder of an Asian man, and the alert really was raised when a human foot was delivered by post to the headquarters of the Canadian Conservative party. The DNA results showed a match between the body part and Lin Jun, and soon a suitcase containing the torso of the body was discovered close to Magnotta’s apartment, where blood was found when the police forced an entry. By this time Magnotta, had fled abroad to France and an international manhunt had been activated, however eventually he was caught on 4th June in an internet cafe in Berlin, by all reports looking at news articles about himself.

Pluto meets Facies in Capricorn – A history lesson of debt, taxes & rebellion.
In Astrology it is often worth going back into history to work out the lessons from times past. At the moment those in the Astrology world are transfixed by the Uranus/Pluto square that is exact for the first time later this month, however I have turned my attention to a sub-plot that is also going on in the heavens that happens only once in every around 248 years which I believe is no less significant, a conjunction between Pluto in Capricorn and the fixed star Facies.

Senator John Edwards - Falling from grace

On hearing this story (we here in the UK don’t get much US politics unless there is a big election on) I had to have a look at the astrology. Very interesting as you will shortly find out. Astrology has a funny way of delving behind the scenes and uncovering motivations and the truth that you wouldn’t normally know. The story for those out there in the world who don’t know is pretty shocking. John Edwards was a previous US Vice-Presidential candidate, Senator for South Carolina and a Presidential candidate in 2008. His wife until she passed away in December 2010 was suffering for the last 7 years of her life with breast cancer. During the 2006 Edwards met up with Rielle Hunter to arrange some promotional films of life on the election campaign trail and from that liaison, it was alleged that Edwards and Hunter had an affair, finally culminating with the birth of a daughter in February 2008. If this wasn’t bad enough, the current stories running seem to suggest that Edwards syphoned off several thousand dollars of his pledged campaign money to Hunter to keep her quiet about the relationship and the baby.
