Queen Elizabeth II shakes hands with Northern Ireland’s deputy minister and former IRA deputy leader Martin McGuinness, the Sinn Fein activist who probably authorised the bombing and murder of Lord Mountbatten, the Duke of Edinburgh’s uncle in August 1979.
