Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha – Fated by Uranus, Venus and a Full Moon
I have always wanted to show you the stunning effects of Astrology over the years and the tragic death of Thai businessman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a fiery helicopter crash last night is testament to the power of the subject I study.
You may not have heard of Vichai, but in his native Thailand and in the UK in the city of Leicester, he was totally revered. A self made businessman, Vichai was the 5th richest man in Thailand, making his fortune through the Duty Free company King Power. If you have ever been travelling, no doubt you will have noticed duty free bags emblazoned with the logo of his company. He bought out a football team in the United Kingdom, Leicester City, and Leicester started an incredible run of success that lead to a fairy-tale victory in the English Premier League. Little Leicester stunned the world in winning the most revered league title in world soccer. Their success captured global attention, and the team paraded the trophy in front of a million people in Bangkok. This man was a philanthropist, a family man and universally loved.
Last night after a match at Leicester's King Power Stadium, the private helicopter of the club owner landed on the pitch as it always did. As it took off with Vichai and his daughter on board, something went catastrophically wrong, the helicopter stalled in the air and came crashing down in a fireball in the club car park behind the stadium. There was no chance for anyone on board.

Full Moon in Taurus - 24th October 2018 – Accepting changes, and moving on...
If you are a regular on my Facebook page, you will have seen the post I put up a few days ago with the Sun and Uranus in opposition making a square to the Nodal Axis. Now tomorrow this square perfects, and as it does it forms part of an even more powerful Full Moon picture, with the Moon reaching the end of its current cycle in the sign of Taurus, occurring in close conjunction to the planet of rebellion, Uranus.

The Astrology of the Virgo Full Moon of 2nd March 2018 – Tough love
We have another full Moon in a couple of day's time as the Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in the sign of Pisces. This full Moon occurs as 11.23 degrees Virgo across the service and sacrifice axis in the heavens, and the contrast between these signs is very marked.

The Leo Lunar Eclipse on 31st January 2018 – Left to your own devices…
Whenever I look at the eclipses, a story or a pattern starts to emerge and often it develops throughout the chart, and with the coming Lunar Eclipse on 31st January 2018, there is no exception to this rule. This eclipse occurs at 11.37 degrees Leo, and if you think about it, the Lunar Eclipse is really a Full Moon, however this time the Earth gets in the way of the Sun and Moon in opposition casting a shadow over the Moon, therefore blacking it out. This is also what we would call a blue Moon as it is the second Full Moon in the month, plus it is a Super Moon too, looking considerably bigger than normal to us, as the Moon's orbit is closer to the earth that it often is.

The Full Moon in Cancer on 2nd January 2018 – Flying high, but affected by the winds of change.
The first major astrological event of the New Year comes up soon as we encounter a Full Moon in Cancer. Anyone who has followed my work over the past few years will know that the Full Moon is a release point, the culmination of all our experiences as the Moon fully reflects the light of the opposing Sun. We have energy opposed to emotion, ying versus yang, light versus dark, man vs female. If you ever wonder why at a Full Moon our emotions are heightened, then you'll realise that in the main, all living organisms need male relationships with females of the species to survive, and when one is pitted against the other, tensions rise. More things happen over a Full Moon because there is a peak amount of opposed energy, causing division between the sexes who naturally see things on a completely different level. This is a Super Moon, the second of three in a row, and therefore potentially the most significant of them all. You'll remember the chaos that surrounded the 3rd December 2017 Super Moon in Gemini square to Neptune and the fall out in your lives from it in the following two weeks? Let me tell you, this Full Moon is no less dramatic.

Full Moon in Scorpio - Acting decisively to reap the benefits
It's full Moon day today in Scorpio, the full Moon happens at 22.24 UK time this evening, that's 17.24 on the east coast of the US. This full Moon, always a time of release and this full Moon highlights the Taurus/Scorpio axis on the chart.

Full Moon 11th April 2017 – Having faith, trust and belief in your actions...
We have a full Moon approaching due to complete on 11th April at 07.07 in London, BST in the sign of Libra, the scales. This full Moon occurs at 21.32 Libra and has the Sun in opposition at 21.32 degrees Aries. Full Moons are the completion of a cycle, it is when the point when the reflected light is at it’s absolute peak, the whole of the Moon is revealed and in the same manner we often get the culmination of a issue that has been building and building for some period of time. Think of the cycle this way, a seed is sown at the new Moon, this is a time when we begin new ideas and set things up for the future. The Full Moon sees that seed now grown and in full flower and our plans come to fruition, we see the fruits of all our labours. From than point, the flower or plant then begins to die as the energy runs out, the leaves fall and a new seed is formed for the next cycle to begin. In the same way what goes up must come down and as our project lessens in effectiveness, we have to adapt or change to begin a new cycle of growth.

Full Moon in Pisces 9th Sept 2014 – Sacrifice for now, but redemption in the future.
The approaching Full Moon on the 9th September indicates the end of the latest Astrological cycle and what a rough one it has been? It occurs in Pisces the final sign in the zodiac and a release point for this lunar year. We have completed another lunar journey and quite appropriately this is a harvest new Moon, the time when we reap what we have sown. The Full Moon reveals the true extent of the actions we have taken in the past few months and in harvest terms it is now time to gather in the crops that were planted and sown back in the spring. From this point the plants start to wither and die as the Sun gets lower in the skies, the days draw in and the dark of the autumn and winter months loom in to view. Another Astrological cycle is ending, but a new one will soon begin. The decisions we make now therefore are crucial.

Full Moon in Aquarius on 10th Aug 2014 – Time to go fishing…
We have another Full Moon just around the corner and this one lands in the sign of Aquarius on 10th August. Aquarius is a sign of community, of social issues and of kindness to fellow human beings. It doesn’t matter to an Aquarian if you are white, black, mixed race, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Chinese, American or even from outer Mongolia. To the Aquarian eye, we are all part of one great collective of life on earth, and so the onus on this full Moon lies with the idea of social issues, of groups and companies, of how we deal with our friends and what we expect from our hopes and ambitions.
Wednesday 9 July 2014
Full Moon in Capricorn on 12th July begins a week of change for us all.
This has been a very active year and the next week sees several shifts in direction and signs of the major planets. These movements involve Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus all in the next week and a half preceded by a Capricorn Full Moon so in Astrological terms is going to be a a very, very busy one.
Thursday 12 December 2013
Full Moon in Gemini on 17th December 2013 - Gaining strength out of adversity.
We come around to another full Moon on the 17th December and this one falls in the sign of the twins, Gemini. The axis under scrutiny in this full Moon, the opposition between the Sun and the Moon is the learning and communication one, governing what we say, what we think, what we learn and what we believe in. As ever there is a sub-plot behind this initial look at where the full Moon hits and it promises to be a rough old few weeks for us all as we see out the old year and ring in the new one.
Tuesday 17 September 2013
Full Moon in Pisces – Deciding what to keep and what to discard.
With the Full Moon on the 19th September 2013 we are coming to the end of the latest Astrological cycle. This full Moon in Pisces is the final release point for this lunar year, so we are at the end of a journey and quite appropriately this is a harvest new Moon, the time when we reap what we have sown. The crops have reached their peak and unless we cut them down or pick them for our consumption then they will start to get over-ripe or begin to lose their freshness and taste. From here on in the plants begin to wither and die as the the darker part of the year approaches. As I will explain, the metaphors within this particular full Moon all sit here in the Astrology and give us a stark warning if we fail to reap our harvest.
Monday 22 July 2013
New Moon 22nd July 2013 - Balancing your needs against those of others.
We have just experienced a “Blue Moon”, the first of two in a row to occur in the sign of Aquarius. As you will know Full Moons show the completion of a cycle and maybe this is why parlance goes that maternity wards always seem to get busier around the time of a full Moon. This one in Aquarius stresses logic and free thinking as well as stressing the need of the many against the needs of the individual.

Libra Full Moon 27th March 2013 (Part 2) – Placing pressure on relationships
This is a second look at the full Moon coming along in a few days time in Libra. I looked at the more global impacts a few days ago and this second look at it, because this full Moon is such an interesting one focuses more in on the more personal impact that it could have.
Tuesday 12 March 2013
Full Moon 27th March 2013 – A tremendous build up of energy is released.
I don’t often look ahead to the full Moon but the upcoming one on the 27th March in Libra does look rather significant and when you see the chart you will understand exactly why. New Moons are the completion of a cycle, it is when the point when the reflected light is at it’s absolute peak, the whole of the Moon is revealed and in the same manner we often get the culmination of a issue that has been building and building for some period of time.
