Aquarius - The water barer |
The Moon continues onwards in the sign of Aquarius on this Valentines Day. Now for supposedly the most romantic day of the year, this position for the Moon is one of rather cold and icy emotions. The Moon in Aquarius looks for something a little bit different and actually traditions are not things that it appreciates, indeed showing love on a wider community scale or to the group is much more Aquarius' thing rather than to any individual in particular.
At the beginning of the day Mercury is in a square aspect to Jupiter, an aspect that started to form late yesterday. This aspect gives us a broad outlook for the day and although we may have a lot of ideas for the future we may struggle to settle on which one we wish to pursue. There is also a possibility that we may try to take on too much today, and end up letting ourselves or someone else down, as we over estimate what we can actually achieve.
The Sun early on also makes an aspect, a sextile to Uranus. Like yesterday and complementing the Moon in Aquarius, there is an unorthodox feel that we will pick up on, as if it's good to be different and to express your talents, however they come to you. Why not experiment and be yourself? There is a feel for technology, science and the social network today, the spreading and sharing of information far and wide.
The Moon makes its only connection with an active and pretty direct sextile to Mars. There will be some impatience as this day progresses and a desire to get things done. We may be competitive and there will be an emotional pull to get one over on or be better than those who we see as a rival. Those who complain or try to make excuses will be given little time, and our attitude will be either to put up or shut up.
Mercury makes a couple of star connections today, with conjunctions to the star Deneb Algedi in the constellation of Capricorn and Sadalsuud in the constellation of Aquarius. Deneb as it is popularly known, sits in the tail of the Goat and is connected to rules and the making and upholding of the law, and it is likely that in the world around us law makers, legal decisions, or challenges to international law may be in the news. I can also imagine that the freedom of the press may be an issue today. Situations or incidents linked to vehicles and transport may also catch the imagination. The other connection to Sadalsuud is quite a fortunate one, and it suggests that our ideas and decisions may catch the right tone today. There could be a flair for business and for finding the right answers at the right time, so follow what seems honest, right and logical to you, and then you won't be far off making this Valentines Day a successful one.
